My Christmas Dream

My Christmas Dream,

begins with just one wish,

to you it might just seem,

a little bit too plain,

but for this simple girl,

it means her everything.

I'd wish for my parents love,

to blossom yet again,

as fragile as a dove,

my family together at last,

it's been a while,

too long in the past.

I'd wish for death to leave,

bring my grandma to our dinner,

no longer would we grieve,

for my aunt, my dear,

we loved them so,

bring them so near.

I'd wish for my family to unite,

all for one great Christmas feast,

tree, their lights shining bright,

and laughs galore show on faces,

no longer would we be without love,

like so many other places.

Don't give up on your dreams,

Don't forget to wish,

Wear your favorite jeans,

And gradually reach bliss.

Live life as it should be,

Happy and fun,

Don't forget to see,

The fun in the sun.

Just keep on with life,

Just keep on with hope,

Forget all your strife,

Don't weep and don't mope.

Life's too short,

To live like it lasts,

So be a good sport,

Put things in the past.

There's no tomorrow,

Just now and forever,

Don't forget there's friends to borrow,

They'll give up never.

I grin in delight
As I see the jealousy cross your face
But something just doesn't feel right
Just isn't in the right place

I guess I'm trying to get over you
Even though you're still in my heart
I don't know what to do
I just want to part

From being laced down with love

I want this love gone

There's no chance for me anymore

More than an imaginary part

So, I talk about another boy

Homework piles,

All the way to fourth base,
Party too hard,
Throw up in the yard,
Must look like her,
Boys you'll lure,
Make-up galore,
Must have more,
Dresses here and there,
Dates don't care,
College coming fast,
High school won't last,
